Description
The double Cheeseborough is a versatile coupler to have in a rigging kit, joining two pipes or truss chords either at a fixed angle or with full freedom to rotate. This black version pairs two high-strength 2-inch (50mm) couplers on a heavy-duty pivot: leave the pivot free for 360-degree swivel action, or drop in the included locking pin to convert the unit into a rigid coupler.
- Swivel or rigid, with 360-degree rotation and a locking pin that fixes the angle when needed.
- TUV Certified for heavy overhead loads up to 500 kg (1,102 lbs).
- Universal fit for 2″ (50mm) truss and equivalent pipe, accommodating tubes from 48mm to 51mm.
- 50mm profile width provides a wide, secure contact surface on the tube.
- Aluminum construction, powder coated black for low-visibility rigging positions.
Typical applications include cross-bracing pipe structures, connecting truss and pipe at odd angles, and hanging scenic or lighting positions where geometry rarely cooperates. The convertible design means one piece of hardware covers both swivel and fixed-coupler jobs, simplifying what a shop needs to stock. The black powder-coated finish makes it a natural pick for theatres and broadcast studios where rigging hardware should disappear into the background.
